Boiled Rice Recipe

Ingredients

250g (8 oz) long grain rice
6 cups (1.5L or 53 fl oz) water


Method

Put rice into a strainer
Wash with cold water
Drain
Add rice gradually to large saucepan with boiling water
Boil uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until tender
Drain rice
Serve
