Yellow Cauliflower Rice Recipe

1 medium to large cauliflower, trimmed to leave the florets and then rinsed and patted dry (with paper towels)
1 tablespoon (15ml) unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) turmeric
1/8 teaspoon (0.5ml) ground cumin


Put the cauliflower florets into a food processor and pulse until the cauliflower has a similar texture to rice
Melt the butter in a large saucepan over a medium heat
Add the turmeric and ground cumin and fry for 60 seconds, stirring often
Add the cauliflower rice to the saucepan and mix well
Cook the rice until softened but firm (3-5 minutes)
