Tomato Raita Recipe

375ml (13 fl oz or 1 1/2 cups) unsweetened natural yogurt
4 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
1 fresh green chilli, with seeds removed and finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon (1ml) salt
1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) sugar
3 tablespoons (45ml) fresh coriander (cilantro) leaves, finely chopped


Put the yogurt, tomatoes, chilli, salt and sugar into a mixing bowl, mix well, cover with kitchen film and put into the fridge for about 2 hours
When needed, remove from
Remove from the fridge, discard the kitchen film, sprinkle in the fresh coriander (cilantro) and serve cold
